Why I Travel Video
Role: Creative Direction, Design
This summer, the creative team was asked to produce an inspiring video to be played for staff at our annual retreat. The tricky part: due to timing, we needed to either use existing content or gather footage without going on the road ourselves. I proposed a concept that involved our Brand Ambassadors filming themselves in iconic locations, answering a prompt about why they travel. The hope was that by asking Ambassadors to do this all over the world, we’d receive enough heartfelt, funny, and/or quirky responses to string together into a powerful video.
Along with our ACD/Copy, Tom Corbett, I developed and refined our prompt for the Ambassadors, as well as drafted written instructions for filming. By the end of the summer, we reviewed and categorized over 80 video submissions.
Video editing, animation, and sound design was all done by our videographer, Brady Griffin, with input from Tom and myself.
New Trips Drinks
Role: Creative Concepting, Production, Art Direction, Prop & Food Styling
In April 2023, Ultimate Break launched 25 new trips. To celebrate our biggest trip drop ever, our social team proposed a themed drink party to highlight some of the most exciting new tours. My role was to coordinate and produce a video of the party for social, as well as lead a photoshoot with each drink. This included concepting drink themes and names, prop sourcing, art direction during the shoots, and post-production photo editing. See the full party video on TikTok.

In addition to my role as a designer and art director for Ultimate Break, I’ve also contributed photography to our brand library. All photos depict real excursions and experiences that occur on our trips; as a photographer, I’m embedded within a trip and get to know our travelers and Tour Directors.
